NYCBSDCon - February 8, 2014

On behalf of the conference organizers, speakers, sponsors, and attendees, we would like to thank everyone for making NYCBSDCon 2014 a great success.

Countless people are involved in creating NYCBSDCon, from the audio/visual setup to pulling their workmates to the event. Our conferences would not be possible without each and everyone of those contributors.

The presentation videos are available on YouTube.

NYCBSDCon 2014 accounting was (finally) completed, and we managed to raise $1109.25 for each of the four BSD projects. Since we aim to break even, it's a remarkable feat for us to make a real profit. The donations have been distributed, and here is the current status:

NYCBSDCon 2014 was a day-long event with the theme of "The BSDs in Production." With a focus on the critical roles the BSDs do and can play in infrastructures, NYCBSDCon lived up to its billing as a premier event for the technical community in the New York metropolitan area and beyond. The day was filled with an array of meetings and discussions reflecting the living and breathing world of the BSDs.

Held at Suspenders Bar and Restaurant located at 111 Broadway just above Wall Street in downtown Manhattan, the event saw the entire facility packed to capacity until the evening, and was a self-contained conference with food and beverages onsite.
